Mcconkey was the right pick but Polk isn’t the worst thing

I mean I love Jakobi, but if Jakobi is the level of player that is Polks ceiling (which I think I lot of people believe), that is HUGELY disappointing when 1 pick before our original selection Coleman went and 2 picks before our original selection Legette went. Both of those guys have true #1 WR pro bowl level ceilings.

As I’ve said many times over the last few years, it’s not just about who is taken right behind you, it’s also about who is taken right in front of you — we should have been agressive and moved up. Polk is a likely a huge drop off from at least one of those two guys.

As for Wallace — there were definitely no amazing prospects at tackle after Guyton was taken in the 1st round imo

Just really hoping that we didn’t also f*** up by not trading up for Patrick Paul or Suamataia instead.

Wolf is really trusting his gut with these last two picks. He’s gonna have to live with the results, for better or worse.

Last post of the night, I’ve been saying that people have been overrating Franklin wildly the whole draft process (some people saying he should go in the 1st was hilarious to me). Glad to see NFL teams agree with me.

That being said, he’s worth a role of the dice along with Sanders, Javon Baker, or Tez Walker with our 4th rounder
