yea look i like hoyer, he's gotten good reviews as a backup in terms of how he runs the 2nd team in practice, but this game might rightfully get him cut. cant be a backup and be that bad of a game manager, taking points off the board

Hoyer could definitely be moved down to 3rd string, however I don't see any chance of cutting him since there's no way I see Bill rolling with only 2 QBs this season due to Covid.

There was so little evidence of him playing well other than the td throw.

1) it was garbage time
2) Harris was doing great
3) chiefs defense was worn down by that point because of the time of possession they had to play all game.

I'd still like to see him start over Hoyer this week if Cam can't go, but I just don't think he showed much of anything to go off of last night.

I really wouldn’t be surprised. I’m not going to pretend like I’m an authority on the matter, as I only have a BS in microbiology, but Goodell is really risking a lot here. Roughly 40% of infections are asymptomatic, and with an incubation period of 2-14 days — this thing could be percolating in so many players around the league. The incubation combined with the travel makes Covid-19 a nightmare to control for the NFL.
