Thoughts on giving Stidham the reigns? It’s a win-win. If he can play, great. Get a guy in free agency and make them compete. If he crumbles, trade up and get a guy you like. We could look at Lance, Jones, Trask.

I think they already know stidham isnt the guy, so I personally want to see them ride it out with Cam. because I like Cam more.

Yeah I don’t see Stidham being the answer long term, and I like Cam too.

That being said, it would be nice to see Stidham go up against a very good team next week that is playing in a meaningful game for them to confirm whether or not Stidham is anything more than a backup.

Also, I know I’m not supposed to like the Dolphins

But I’m really happy for B Flo, he deserves the success he’s been having as much as anyone

if Cam is not in the Patriots plans for 2021 then it makes sense to bench him now for Stidham. if they are thinking of bringing Cam back, then these last 2 games could still be valuable for him in their system.

my guess is they do NOT plan to bring Cam back in 2021 and therefore he will be benched this week. although I wouldn't be surprised if Stidham struggles and Cam ends up coming back in as a mid-game replacement.
