Need the O Line to show up tomorrow

Stevenson is in the dog house instead of Harris.

He’s gotta become a better blocker.

Also, McCaffrey beasted against the Jets last week, and JJ Taylor fits that role more than Stevenson

One of the guys I’m gonna be focusing on today is Godchaux. Our run d was p poor last week, and I’m curious to see whether he helps step it up today since we paid him so much

O line killing us again

That’s not to say RT spot is the only problem on the O line tho, they all need to step up

It says something about how far we have to go being that we’re only up 10 after winning the turnover battle +3 in the first half

I fully expect Saints and Bucs to absolutely DEMOLISH us in the run game if our defense is getting tossed around like we have been against the Dolphins and Jets (whose O Lines and running backs are BOTH mediocre)

Mac Jones still looked solid. He has a long way to go but is playing the game manager role solidly a la 2001 Brady. He’s gotta stop freaking out and throwing it into the ground when getting sacked. We didn’t need to throw it downfield much today but hopefully they’re ready to air it out soon.

Good points for sure, but after seeing Wilson’s picks today, I’ll take take Mac’s grounding penalties over that any day

P crazy that we’re still getting Gilmore and Harry back in the next few weeks too

But what we really need are some competent linemen one both sides, hopefully Brown coming back helps a lot.

I agree with everything you said here. Our run defense needs to improve quickly if we’re going to compete in the tougher games on our schedule. The offensive line is an issue too. They’re getting lit up too frequently.

James White was definitely balling. I’m glad to see him back in the game plan.

Mac is a good game manager, and for what it’s worth, he is playing better than every rookie quarterback right now. I agree he has to get better and hopefully develop more confidence. But I also think a lot of our offensive constraints have to do with McDaniels. He refuses to trust Mac, and he’s calling all of these terrible screen plays on 3rd & long. I’d like to see more two TE sets.
