If drake doesnt have a classic then who does????1
Besides kendrick no one in his generation has a classic album that isnt just opinion based from a fan.
J.Cole
Nicki
Future
Big Sean
Only there fans will say they have a classic album but with Drake its gotta be outside of his fanbase ? ..such a double standard aka the drake standard
people forget classic albums dont have to be perfect albums. When it comes to drake theres a lot of nitpicking going on. Impact and influence matters more at the end of the day
Lol they gonna tell you j cole boring ass albums are classics 🤣🤣🤣
FHD is a classic but I'm a fan...K.O.D aswell but again I'm a fan
KOD will end up as a classic.
FHD is a classic
The funny thing is, the tide is turning with Drake. You almost get as many people saying "WELL ACTUALLY, drake does have classics" as people saying "Drake don't got no classics.
To me, SFG and TC are easily classics. No debate.
I know people want to throw NWTS in there, and while that's a lot of people's favorites, there's elements about that album that make it debatable.
I honestly think Scorpion will end up as the 3rd classic from him. Pure hits all over that album and it's aging exceptionally well especially side A
this narrative existed around the time views dropped because people had high expectations. People ran with "drake has no classics" after they were dissapointed in his most hyped album.
Classics are defined after the albums have had time to age and a large group of people agree the album was special.
Take Care and atleast for me NWTS fit that bill to a T (like they say in his rap radar interview, it was an important album that put Drake in position to have the run he has had the last 5 years.)
As for Cole, FHD his classic. I loved KOD but FHD had a greater impact as a whole for cole and i think its whatever he drops next that will be defining for him.
It's just regular Drake hater nonsense. He has at least two classics and at most four. Anyone who says otherwise is bullshitting.
Drake has 4 undeniable classics in:
SFG
TC
NTWS
IYRTITL
3 more debatable in:
Views (probably will, as it has aged well)
ML
Scorpion (argument against is number of tracks and most of Side B feeling like half-baked ideas ex. Peak)

Agreed, I’d add SFG and KOD will be classic in 5 years
Everyone know at least Take Care is a classic. It’s still relevant to this day. Y’all gotta stop taking the bait so easily.

Views, More life and especially Scorpion will never be classics. Not even debatable.

Views literally has no flaws
I think the Views nostalgia of Twitter that happens every summer makes Views a classic.
An album that marked time for people that they miss.
If that ain't a classic what is.
Views literally has no flaws
If that’s how you feel it was a weak album imo considering the controversy beforehand.

The most I ever seen go viral were just a few separate songs, not the entire album. Fire and Desire more than anything.

u hit the nail on the head with this one
In the aspects of resonating you can’t even argue drake doesn’t have classics
The only angle is if you put some extra stupid lens on what classic is
Views literally has no flaws
Toying with it like happy meal
Chaining Tatum
Problems hit the gym, they all work out
Pretty glaring flaws tbh
