Anyone have more nostalgia for PPDS than MOTM or MOTMII? It was an insane era. I just really wanted him to win (mentally and album reception) at that moment. It may be different nostalgia than the MOTMs but still an amazing time to be a fan.

I'll give you the heavy autotune, but Cudi has had dark atmospheres forever. Only thing different is him utilizing autotune more. There's one verse that literally sounded like Travis though so I'll give you that lol.

This a really solid album, one of his better ones for sure. i wish he toned it down wit the trap beats a lil bit or at least chose more interesting, unique sounding ones. the first half is cool and listenable but i dont see myself returning to it besides track 2. the energy just feels kinda flat. I loved elsie's baby boy. Tracks 11-18 were the Cudi I was looking for so he delivered there. Good album, but I wish it wasnt called MOTM III because he coulda came harder with the whole project imo.
