it’s warm, it’s more of a 70s classic rockish feel to it. it’s layered and sort of experimental the mixing is more compressed. not this 808s empty as f*** try to stay relevant w the kids. album is good but it’s not motm sound bro. call it something else.

Man made a mixtape and marketed it as the 10 year sequel to MOTM2

Not rockin with cudi on this one

Only MOTM2 is the album that 70s influenced with the whole Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix type of sound.

MOTM1 had more indie s***, hences Ratatat and MGMT.

but they still sounded timeless and had the same essence and warm motm sound. and both still not sounding like anything at that time. this album sounds like all the s*** out there rn maynnnne

I semi like the album but this ain’t motm sound. sorry but it’s not. cudi should’ve just dropped it as entergalactic and had more features on it if he going for a more trap sound.

There is no motm sound in my opinion, 1 and 2 sound completely different

As someone who was Kid Cudi fan back when AKNC dropped and sorta gave up on him I have to say I’m enjoying this. First part was a bit of a drag but it picked up towards the middle and end. Glad to see him back in the limelight

  • This is way trappier than i expected but its working

True s***, but let's agree to disagree. I feel this album will stand on his own in his discography. You could argue that this s*** sounds like what we have nowadays, but where did it all stem from

There isnt much trap at all. It is a couple of songs. Some of yall making it sound like the whole album is sprinkled all over with it.

The second half of the album has wondagurl beats yet they’re all saying dont worry trap beats are only on the first half exposed

I'm actually glad he didn't just do the usual "MOTM" sound on this one and mixed it up. The first half was really good with him rapping more frequently, and even in the 2nd half when it went back to his more traditional sound it still sounded fresh and not a rehash of his old sound.

I thought the balance was perfect between the two sounds
