Not really man, Cudi's one of my fav artists too, love almost everything from him since AKNC (SB2H is a classic in my twisted stan opinion) and this album is great, of course it's a kind of a commercial effort, but a really good and balanced one. The replay value is amazing, the songs are great and grow on you over time. I started by hating it (mostly the 1st half) but now I'm all in
