Hot take but This movie aged poorly. The concept should have been them adding crazy drama to his life and him having crazy scenarios happen to him at every turn to make it as watchable as possible while depriving truman of a normal life. But instead it's this boring ass show of him brushing his teeth, going to work and hanging out with the same friend every day

the concept hits different when you've been following Truman since birth. I think people today would be attracted to how boring and artificial his life is lol it's a throwback to the boomer era.

there's so many idiots still desperately chasing the American dream so I think it still holds up.

That could have been a good idea. Reality shows weren't as popping or know as they were back in the 90s so I could see how that missed that idea

If Truman Show was made today though 100% the show in the movie would have been some foolishness you see on Zeus TV or those Netflix reality shows where Truman's life is nothing but fighting and arguing lmaom
