There’s a Chinese exchange student I’m close friends with at my school and her father works in a laboratory in China, apparently China was actually trying to make flying humans basically a chimera between humans and bats because bats are the animals the closest genetic similar to us that can fly but whilst in the process of bending the genetic code they accidentally mutated one of the viruses that was on this bat ( who already carry various many, diseases for various reasons)
