Let’s use this very self-explanatory reason as to why Wayne isn’t pulling Em numbers. It has nothing to do with talent or having a stan-base.

There is hardly any competition in Eminem’s lane when it comes to his rap style. The only competition Em had was Logic and Joyner Lucas who rarely both drop albums. Whereas for Wayne, the entire industry mimics his style (not lyrically) but the autotune addition in hip-hop made it extremely hard for Wayne to continue dominance in modern day.

But Wayne still pulling 6 figure numbers first week for his fourth decade straight clearly proves he’s one of if not the greatest to ever do it.

Em is about to be 50 though. So it’s expected. Wayne went from giving niggas game on records and talking grown man ish to straight Cokenand Percocet talk. As he gotten older his subject matter gotten worse and Uzi vert and thug are more relatable when it comes to that.

Wayne doesn't sell well outside of the Carter albums, he's only sold over 200k twice on non-Carter albums and one of those times was back in 1999.
