stop pretending winning a grammy doesnt change someones career and get them in rooms that if other artist had access to their work wouldn't greatly improve man its clown s***
I am not saying its illuminati conspiracy its just reality that winning a grammy changes everything
helped him become a household name
helped sell more of his merch, brand deals all of that
there are artist that will never touch brand deals, soundtracks for the grinch, their own brand that have potential to be better than him

oh but BINK produced DIAND
at least with Ye refs you can see how production / lyrics get changed around and evolve. This is just karaoke like you said lol

remove the beat and nostalgia from Tyler he really isnt doing what you think he is doing....

thats why his freestyle was dogshit and he doesn't have a good one..
he a solid singer but not Godly again he shines most with real singers like Snoh, Kali and Daniel Caesar
stop playing @insertcoolnamehere
Honestly Chromakopia was the first Tyler album I really didn't enjoy and that surprised me alot. At 14 I was well aware of Goblin's flaws but I STILL thoroughly enjoyed a handful of tracks. From Wolf up to CMIYGL, for the age I was while listening to those - every album was a generally good experience for me and I loved some of those records. This was the first time since becoming a fan of T that I had an awful listening experience to an album of his. OP is right, Chromakopia's production is so overstuffed and honestly embarrassing. It all started with that orchestral ass intro with the HEAVILY layered vocals that ruined that album. Then some predictable "crazy artsy switch up" moment with a distorted ass beat that's somehow still generic. Sounds like it belongs on a commercial or some s***. And the singing vocals f***ing SUCKED on this album. "Darling, I" is really emblematic of the flaws of a lot of Tyler's more recent artistry - everyone knows that he's always wanted to emulate the Neptunes sound, but I feel like his earlier inexperience with production resulted in him inadvertently creating his own distinct style that was way cooler. Now he's a more adept producer, and ironically it's resulted in him being a better imitator. "Darling, I" was when I started really tuning out, because besides the beat being some obvious Neptunes rip off those f***ing falsetto vocals from Tyler are atrocious - and it's like, damn. This would actually be cool with a better vocalist. But with a better vocalist still the hook and songwriting would be lackluster. I'm starting to realize a lot of hyping up Tyler is intertwined with being invested in him as a person
and that's why his biggest fans are usually teens. Once you grow up and grow into yourself you stop investing so much in HIM and as a result you divest from the art
thats why him going after Ian was goofy cause he got that many years on Ian and still only doing so much....
Yeah s*** sounds like you supposed to like it but it’s not hitting
this absolutely killed me
Tyler shouldnt speak on rap when he barely rapping himself he popping cause he singing too....

Rihanna is one of the most protected popstars ever, the criticism that Beyonce gets for apparently not writing should be going to her

THANK YOU
Chromakopia is probably Tyler’s most relatable album to me due to the fact I have an absent father and I’ve knocked chicks up and they’ve had abortions. I can see why people don’t like it but like him is the heaviest/most relatable song in his catalog
NIGGAS ARE RAPPING RAPPING and yall pretending Tyler is one of those Niggas.
