this is a thread dedicated to finding out what the f*** happened in Uganda. If you don't know already, a bunch of creatives from Yeezy Sound & Kanye's team (including MIKE DEAN) suddenly left Uganda seemingly after a falling out with Ye. Also the YesJulz kidnapping situation.

What caused them to leave?

I wouldn’t tie the bulletproof vest thing to this he was already wearing it around the time he went to the White House. I remember he went to the Georgetown Apple store after when he announced he was going to Africa and he had it on too. Was just general paranoia cus he was saying some wild stuff

Summary (some parts theory)

YesJulz originally planned a trip to go to Uganda in October, and I think some point in September she saw Ye and told him about it, and he decided on a whim to go there too

He brought along a huge team of collaborators and friends/family, which I think the security he brought with him was severely under equipped to handle

The trip was going well for the first day or two, then after which people stopped posting updates from Uganda because the kidnapping incident occurred where there was a stand off between Kanye's original security and a new local group he hired to help them travel back from the jungle

Most of the people Ye brought with him left shortly after returning, and it was just Ye, Kim, North and Julz who went on to do some donations and schools, visit the President, and then go home
