stopped watching after the saviors arc bc i felt like it was dragging heavy

started rewatching recently though and remembered how much i liked the first few seasons. almost done with season 2. kinda wanna catch up to the current season

7 seasons into my rewatch im about where i stopped watching or at least stopped really paying attention

i’m enjoying it but the one thing that really pisses me off about the show is how episodes focus on different groups at a time. it’s ok on a rewatch but i remember at the time of watching it was brutal

why would they make fans wait like 3 weeks to see the main group again? f*** that. they can tell the stories of the different groups simultaneously and it would be so much better

I 100% agree but it would be too confusing to have to have 4-5+ stories going at the same time. You would never get anywhere in an episode.

fair enough but it just irritates me when i’m watching some episode about the f***ing kingdom and haven’t seen rick in multiple episodes lmao

Def agree. Like I’m more interested in a certain storyline but you have to get through a different one first before seeing the storyline you’re enjoying more lol

But there’s so many f***in characters and groups, you kinda gotta do the one at a time thing

yea it makes sense just feel like there could be a better way

def easier to put up with though on the rewatch, i can like half pay attention and be on my phone on the episodes focusing on the more boring storylines since i dont have to wait a week for the next episode

hard for me to get over the drastic changes in comparison to the comics but im sure it improved greatly from those seasons

it's on a break now since they couldn't finish the post production on the season finale. only that episode is left in the season and it will air sometime late in the year maybe around november

Lost interest in Walking Dead . The introduction of the scruff princess made it a joke. I'm aware she is in the comics but the cringeworthy attempt at comedy was enough to say " f*** it " for me

Up until now I had never seen any of the show. Spent the last few weeks binge watching it, and decided to take a little break before watching season 10, since they’re apparently adding 7 more episodes.

But imo, the thing that “killed” the show was adding all the different groups. imo there’s way too many characters in the show, its hard to connect to any of them.

I’m only halfway through season 9 but it’s a huge improvement from 7&8, the Negan storyline dragged on for way too long, and it was annoying because episodes would go by and no development to the story would be made.
