This show had the world by its balls until it didnt

I hate when shows like these get good again after seasons.

I kinda want to see why people are saying the last seasons are good, but I don't want to sit through 3-4 seasons of ass.

Seasons 7 and 8 are the only bad seasons IMO

They were trash and just totally drawn out. They could have easily been combined and taken all the filler out

But season 9 and the current (10) are back to the usual quality you expect from this show

Somehow I stuck with this show.
If Maggie kills Negan Negan been carrying this s*** on his shoulders.

Rick leaving after how streched the whole Saviors storyline was has hit the show hard in terms of viewers.
The episodes in the last two seasons have been a journey of ups and downs but it's definitely better.

Somehow b****y ass Carol went from GOAT character to unbearable.
The writing for her character since Henry's death has been the only mistake of the last two seasons.
If I'd watch this show on tv I'd turn the channel when she is on

After "Here's Negan" AMC should make a spin off on him.
F*** Daryl and Carol. They write more lines for Daryl nowadays but the actor is still a whispering mf and Carol is unbearable.

Make something interesting about the creation of the Saviors starting from what you've shown on the episode.
Show his journey from awful husband> great husband> anti hero>monster> redeemed man in peace with his mistakes.

Yes. Seasons 1-3 are kind of slow. Honestly they were executed wrong but they resembled the first season of TWD.

SKIP ⏭ Season 4.. just trust me.

I hate that he wanted to leave, but at the same time they finally gave Alicia some damn shine!

Just started watching this on Friday and now almost finished Season 2. Obviously won’t read the thread for spoilers, but just putting it out there.

Stockholm Syndrome

Kept hearing how awesome season 9 was, I turned it on and couldn't take the whisperers seriously. No rick, no carl, bad antagonists, no fresh storylines.

It feels like they tapped into the comics a little too much. Comics are comics for a reason, they usually arent based in reality

is it worth catching up from season 5 to finish this show? i know like major spoilers and s*** but i don't really mind that, kinda curious how some things happen but i heard the show kinda falls off after season 8-9

I would say so? Season 8 was the only one that dragged a bit for me cause the war s*** was way too long
