Carried by Affleck. Could have been a lot worse the second half saved the movie.

They should’ve showed scenes from that last game, underwhelming ending to the point I didn’t think that was the ending

I wasn’t very invested in the basketball team that’s where the movie could have improved. Coach Carter is so great because we get a look into the players lives this was mostly about Affleck.

So seeing Affleck fight his way back was enough resolution for me.

I agree with that aspect. The basketball team was meh. The movie is about Affleck's character though. Honestly, I'm a big ass Affleck fan. I loved this movie

I just think none of the actors played their roles as good as Affleck did. That’s what I meant. Affleck killed it and the rest was meh
