Definitely feeling the second half more than the first at this point - but you can tell this album is the most inspired and into his art he's been since Kiss Land.
overall it's a incredibly cohesive record, maybe a little too cohesive in the first half, but I think re-listens are going to important to fully judge it.
... and the aesthetic was a bit of a fakeout IMO. doesn't really match these songs at all, which is unfortunate. curious to know what direction he'll take the visuals in for the next music video(s?)

Trilogy always a great starting point. If you like more pop weeknd you could delve into starboy s***. I love my dear melancholy too and its an ep so its easy to listen through all the way

_______This s*** is not as dark as I wanted it to be. Instead it's just Bubble gum 80's pop. The melodies aren't hitting like his old s***. Most of it just sounds like throwaway 80's prom music.
