You don't get Top Artist of the year or Artist Of The Decade without having a lot of merit, more than 99% of musicians will never get those. Exactly how much merit is subjective but there's some connection there.

why are you so hyper defensive nobody was attacking drake. The point is simply that the charts are diluted and political and not an independently accurate measurement for quality.

I think you read my post in a harsher tone then I meant. It seemed like you implied there's no merit in these awards. There definitely is because you don't see a level of success like those examples without it. I never mentioned Drake but he's a great example of what I'm talking about.

Kinda wish Abel and Drake linked up or at least took a photo here. Was a big night for both of them.
