I like the leaked version of Take Me Back more tbh. Feel like the piano fit more.
Agreed still amazing tho
OPN got production credits on the Moses track
If this the kind of heat he’s gonna come with, nice blend of electronic soul and pop, I’d be with it for after life
Although I know there’s 4 credited producers
wait its not mike dean production
DaHaelia either helped write it or produced it
Metro just did coprod
I’d bet that dehalia did the original version but not necessarily the new one
Take Me Back is fantastic
A Lesser Man ( Prod by Mike Dean, The Weeknd and Sam Levinson)
Take Me Back ( Prod by DaHeala, Metro Boomin and The Weeknd)
Get It B4 (Prod by Moses Sumney, Roman GianArthur, Sensei Bueno and OPN)
Now my question is
What is metro doing on take me back
Where’d you get that Metro credit? He’s not credited on Apple Music, only Abel, Mike, and DeHeala are

I think from memory he accidentally said metro instead of mike

I’m confused bc future is also credited as a feature on the song
This is becoming my favorite era of his music. I just wish the'yd kept take me back the way it was
I wish she would take me back man
They dont deserve us brother
I wasnt big on the live version of A Lesser Man but this studio version....
One of his most unique songs recently, its so f***ing good

Im gonna get cooked but s*** sounds like a modern take on The Knowing
That despair in his voice..
I swear Take Me Back has a new meaning after seeing the episode... I thought it was gonna be him pleading her to take him back... But it's literally from the perspective of Jocelyn and how she miss the control of her mother and how that fear gave her some kind of direction

Isn't there a version with Jocelyn singing it?
I'm mad man this version was better
Same way too late, faith, and especially alone again would sound better without the overly processed vocals, i think that's the one thing i don't like about this mans music since MDM. I love After Hours but i believe it would have benefited from having clear vocals. I get he's tryna create a certain vibe by altering them that way but f*** it man, and f*** drowning the s*** in the music. Niggas just wanna hear that angelic voice smh. The crispness of his vocals on bbtm is a major reason i enjoy that album so much

Nah that’s a good comparison, I didn’t realize until I read this that that was where my brain was gravitating towards when I was listening

There was a version with both of them singing together if I recall correctly
