Cope: the version that dropped today is album version, and we're getting single version (movie version) tonight
that rihanna song sounds extra s*** next to this
Facts lol and I love Rihanna
Nah this song is amazing man
yes because black panther took a lot from avatar.
fr though, Wakanda Forever just seemed like they were trying to copy the visuals of Avatar 2. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they did considering Disney likely had seen the designs and visuals for the past few years.
thst artwork so trash tho
Check the previous pages, cause @doublefantasy made some pretty sweet artworks
it really sounds like the movie version is the actual song and they remixed this s*** with SHM. the song progresses much better in the other version
Unfortunately I don't think this song will win an Oscar or even be nominated 🥴
It has 5 writers and that's a lot for the Academy. The most they awarded was 4 writers. Unless SHM decide to go was one group instead of three different people
"No more than two statuettes will normally be given in the original song category. A third statuette may be awarded when there are three essentially equal writers of a song. The music branch executive committee has the right, in what it alone determines to be a very rare and extraordinary circumstance, to award a fourth statuette.
“In cases where five or more credited songwriters function as collaborators, a single statuette may be awarded to the group. Each songwriter must agree to the single ‘group statuette’ option by signing and returning a ‘group award form’ prior to the submission deadline. Final determination of the awardable songwriters in the group will be made by the music branch executive committee.”
There has never been a time when a five-member songwriting team has won an Oscar. Twice in Oscar history, a four-member team has won best original song. Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt shared the 2018 Oscar for co-writing “Shallow” from A Star Is Born. Peter Allen, Burt Bacharach, Christopher Cross and Carole Bayer Sager shared the 1981 award for co-writing “Arthur’s Theme (Best That You Can Do)” from Arthur.
Not a fan of the new songs we're getting tbh
Creepin is great and a nice spin on a classic, this has angelic vocal’s what don’t you like about them?

Listening on the way home…..I like Power Is Power more as of now tbh. Extremely cinematic though

Yeah I agree
Very unlikely he’ll be nominated
I would’ve disagreed with you last week because it looked like there was an open slot in this years race
But the song from Del Torro’s Pinocchio seems to have taken it
Unless Disney start a huge campaign, I don’t see it, which is unfortunate
Abel has never missed with movie soundtracks imo
