I can't recommend Beach House's self titled album to everyone ITT if you're in the mood for some Trilogy music.

They aren't really comparable in terms of themes or something, but I feel like the sonics of that album are really similar to something like Trilogy.
Helps that Abel sampled Master Of None on TPATAP.

I've been listening to it heavy for the past few months(all things BH tbh but that one especially).

It would be a crazy moment for them to collab on something, fingers crossed.

I remember they posted some studio pictures with Ye a while ago, those are obviously not coming to fruition but the connection could be there…

I really hope so man, I can't stop thinking what a collab between them would sound like.

Funny enough that was the album that really got em into them when I was like a big fan of theirs. Not Teen Dream or anything even tho I had already heard that

As influential as all that older stuff is, I still feel like nobody really has truly take all of that sound had to offer in terms of different genre influences and what not.

Just kinda the aesthetic and even then it's still a much more cleaner and less ""grimy"" version of what he was doing

It's hard to do a take on that because you actually have to be really talented, but also invested in the music you are taking the inspiration from, and you can see that he is an actual music lover from Memento Mori.

It's easier to make the clean music "inspired" by it, than actually doing the real thing yourself.

Like we’ve seen his career so I’d never call what happened a one and done in terms of quality, but a lot of stars aligned in 2011 for those ppl to come together and end up making what they did ya know?
