Fully agree, daxz's production and Abel's vocals/sound he established, really complemented one another
I wonder if they were meant for the 2014 Seattle "drugged out, Nirvana vibe" album

My theory that I’ve stuck with for about a decade now is that…the unreleased May tracks were supposed to be King of the Fall album. Out Here is obviously Starboy and he mentioned that he scrapped an album before Starboy. It all aligns. Also ever since he stopped using indie Canadian producers the sound changed. Republic won’t let him use good producers, just Max Martin with pop synths
