Travis and Chase B bumping ‘The Party & The After Party’ on Cash’s story.
Travis so real
Just listened to the After Hours track... Top 3 Weeknd of all time for me
Might have to update that after the next album
What do we think this album is gonna sound like?
Imo still synth-heavy, but less directly inspired by 80s pop like After Hours, more synthwave / dreamwave-esque. Overall more of a dreamy and atmospheric sound, spacey and maybe a bit psychedelic ?

So songs like wild love and no nightmares where you can’t understand a word he is saying?

It may not be the most favorite opinion, but I think this will be a much more pop heavy, lighter album. He knows his next album will probably be his most anticipated in regards to a large pop audience.
I think it's pretty clear there's a connection between this album and after hours. I expect this to be all about rising out of a dark place, and much more positive (though I'm sure there will be somber moments). I also agree that the quiter moments will be closer to No Nightmares production wise. Not dark, but dreamy.

I really hope you're right,would love that.
Dawn itself reminds me of mellow and nostalgia, something along the lines of Privilege

I sure hope not. To be honest, i loved After Hours, but I loved it DESPITE the synths and all that.

This seems really likely, especially considering how The Weeknd said something to the effect of “The after hours are over, here comes the dawn.”
I don’t think we’ll really ever get that nice hip hop The Weeknd from back in like 2014-2016 again sadly.
