An album doesn’t need to be influential to be considered a classic. See: GKMC
It’s coming up on 2 years and is still widely seen as a career defining album for him, not to mention the fact that it came out at the beginning of a global pandemic when the entire world was on quarantine, so it was the soundtrack to that for a lot of people.
And the album is not going to age poorly. Too many different styles and sounds on there for it to ever sound dated.

An album doesn’t need to be influential to be considered a classic. See: GKMC
It’s coming up on 2 years and is still widely seen as a career defining album for him, not to mention the fact that it came out at the beginning of a global pandemic when the entire world was on quarantine, so it was the soundtrack to that for a lot of people.
And the album is not going to age poorly. Too many different styles and sounds on there for it to ever sound dated.

No, it is a classic, but it’s not influential in any way, shape, or form. It’s just an amazing body of work.

I see where you're coming from but it still isn't seen as a classic culturally which is my point. No one aruges that Trilogy is a classic but no one makes the same argument for any other body of work Abel has dropped (yet).
