Actually they do, people place too much emphasis on the FW sales and don’t account for artists being streamed for months
And I’m saying no one’s putting emotional weight to the point of disappointment on their predictions unlike how you do
How am I putting emotional weight into anything? I didn't even bring up numbers. Y'all did. All I did was join in. You're the one being emotional right now, not me. I'm just saying what I think Dawn FM will do first week like everyone else.
Just saw r/frenchmontana
I'm literally on the floor right now
Lol what happened?
After hours released at peak pandemic, it could have done more if not for that
No, it wouldn't have. DLDT was released peak pandemic as well and pulled more streams and that was a surprise mixtape drop. Best case, Abel does 250-275M US streams first week with this album. That's the realistic range.
It'd be nice if he surpassed that obviously but I'm not gonna overestimate his commercial pull just because. This album doesn't have nearly as much steam going into it's release as After Hours did.

Keep telling yourself that.

After Hours dropped March 20, 2020. DLDT dropped May 1, 2020.
