Illangelo is all about the familiarity and chemistry built from Trilogy, but there is nothing like a fresh new spark to really bring things to new, innovative places. Hoping for OPN to be involved with at least half the album, if not more.
We all know that Abel is a music nerd, who is capable of doing any genre he pleases and excel, only now he is encapsulated inside a pop star. OPN is a synth god, and I love the way he experiments and uses sounds, it's out of this world. Their coming together has resulted in bringing experimental to mainstream, fresh sounds, amazing earcandys. They are two masterminds coming together, and I love that.

omorahiCertainly wouldn’t have. He would just be finishing touring AH about now. Probably would’ve taken a solid sized break and then come back summer/fall 2023 with another album.
Facts. And we know the vision/sound wouldn't be quite the same, some elements maybe but he really got to the opportunity to focus during lockdowns to build this world fresh off the steam of AH. Higher quality steam than the short bridge from BBTM-Starboy lol

What song outside of the title track involves “familiarity” with the Trilogy that Illangelo produced on After Hours?
I mean we’ll see what OPN does on here, but I wouldn’t discredit Illangelo like that.
