I think for me what gave me that impression is all the synth stuff i’ve been hearing. i heavily associate synths with After Hours and pop in generally

But to me, Afterhours, and its era, does literally sound, and look, like a soundtrack detailing a late night out turned into a very late night.

I'm hopeful that the aesthetic he creates for this is good - because at first hearing "The Dawn" and what music I associate with Dawn sounds like some bubbly bs

I'm just curious where he goes from here (There is plenty of possibilities) everything in his storyline has been leading up to this body of work. Will be interesting to see where it's heading

I dont expect an album that is themed around the dawn and a sequel to after hours to be poppy.

I’m sure there’ll be pop tracks on here but with OPN and Prince85 heavy involvement I’m sure it’ll be great

idk about poppy but i expect it to be very spacey,mellow and bright

To me, this era and it’s title feels like the morning after and that stale taste in your mouth after a very late night of bad choices and excess d*** use
