this is so much better than kiss land, lightyears ahead
Not sure I agree but I think KL is a bit more musically cohesive
Although the transitions and concept is more dialed in on Dawn FM
I really don't think trilogy stans are a thing anymore. Like it feels like thats a copout for current weeknd fans for whenever someone doesn't like something he did. I haven't seen anyone bring up trilogy.
Trilogy has been brought up several times in here. And all over social media lol
weeknd on autopilot
staboy still his most ambitious
This is like if starboy was actually good tho (I say this as a starboy fan)
damn
It's probably his best produced album. The transitions are also great but I care more about songs I can take with me than those things and he just didn't give me enough of those with this album.
Of course, I'll still give the album more listens to see if I missed anything.
So many of the people criticizing this rank the album and put Trilogy and KL at the top
oh no!!!!
weeknd on autopilot
staboy still his most ambitious
Starboy and ambitious should never be used in the same sentence
literally if it wasn't for the title track and BL, After Hours would be a trashcan compared to this for me
that boy leveled up

I love OPN so probs biased towards dawn

Not sure that the concept is tbh you could remove the radio interludes and the album would hit the same and arguably improve
That Jim outro track dark as s***
I thought it was kinda hopeful and hinting at some light and very cathartic
Agree to disagree, I’m loving this
Oh for sure there at least 3/4 tracks on here that are fantastic. Just at the end of the day I think I'm going to enjoy After Hours more as a full body of work. But I do think Dawn is a more ambitious creative project...especially since the visual story is far from complete.

that's all I meant bro
the flow of echoes is also flawless
