It follows on from after hours where he died. Because death is associated with old age,the dawn is him now rising from his darkness and the little glimmer of light you see behind him represents why the album has such a bright sound palette despite some of the dark lyrics. And he also said in an interview the album is the listener getting guided to the light through radio,so he and us are him on the cover. Simple
Nigga that is not simple lol but I ain’t getting that vibe from the Album besides Jim’s ending. He ain’t singing bout none of that in the album
A lot of cuts on blond but I haven’t really listened to Frank lately so I can’t tell dont really wanna make either artist inferior to each other
I know i joke
This really sounding like after hours leftovers
Your mother should have left your over in the after hours of the night when she had you chief

The very first song is literally about him wanting gasoline poured on his body to burn it when he’s dead
Really enjoyed this overall. Not as good as After Hours, as I expected, but it’s still a great album. Only track I straight up did not care for is Best Friends. Total throwaway. I Heard You’re Married was cool on first listen but I could already feel the appeal wearing off on second listen + the Wayne verse was as random as it sounded on paper. Some insane highlights on here though, esp on the back end of the album. The Tyler track was amazing - Abel sounded soooo good on it. Is There Someone Else only gets better with each listen. Don’t Break My Heart is infectious as f***. And Less Than Zero is the perfect end credits/montage type song to close out the album. This is like an 8/10 to After Hours’ 9/10 imo
This is where I am starting to land, though I'm probably a bit more positive about the album than you. Its insane he followed up AH with another absolute banger tbh
Edit: i think its an 8.5 for me
Songs I don't like at all - Best Friends, here we go again, I heard you're married, less than zero
Songs that are just ok - Dawn FM, Starry eyes,Take my breath, I heard you're married
That's the problem with this album for me. There's too many 6/10 songs and below
Based off what I heard I don’t this is an 80s tribute album more of a progression like future nostalgia
i almost feel like there has to be some previous iterations of it like it just sounds like an iconic line lol
Exactly what I thought. i was racking my brain but closest I could think of was the smiths’s “i went to london and died”
That’s what makes it a super good line. Instantly sounds memorable
