He has to submit this for a Grammy ffs. Not that I care about them but this is Grammy bait in a good way.
This post basically summarizes ktt as a whole
Pyramids and nights are top tier songs imo
Even disregarding those two obvious classics, Frank has def made numerous songs better than the morrissey song where he’s b****ing about his job
Rym is so elitist when it comes to the weeknd wtf
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that so much of the highly rated music on there is dark, makes sense
imagine a fully jai paul producer track w weeknd
would literally be the perfect era for it
the closest thing we'd ever get to prince x mj
and lowkey would actually be better
Day 1 fan here. Good music is good music and it shouldn’t require d****. I spent my 20’s bumping his catalogue as my soundtrack. Three years sober and I listen to music a lot more critically. This is mid. His song writing is average. His melodies are stale. His voice and artistic vision carry his work a lot these days. His features have been belowwww mid for a minute and this is just a step above that. After hours had some really high moments but it also had a lot of mid as well making it a 6.5/7-10 overall.
This was my fav artist at one point and I’d be glad to walk these comments if the music clicks with me. I don’t see that happening. I would have liked his music to take a Stevie wonder/Prince/MJ hybrid direction but here he is 30+ Still crying about heart break and d****. At some point you have to evolve …

I don't understand people who hear an album once and already come up with 5 paragraphs
idk how he did it but this album made me like TMB even MORE, and i f***ing love that song

They’ve actually given some pop albums great scores but with The Weeknd being mainstream that somehow makes him a lesser artist

Unless it’s professional critics of course cause they get the album early hence the multiple reviews already out

Okay
Rym is so elitist when it comes to the weeknd wtf
Because they rate this over BBTM and Starboy like they should? lol
I know what you mean though, his ratings too low
Funny how Weeknd literally made more of the same with sligh iterations and some fans think its the greatest s*** ever and others act like he fell off so hard and this album is awful.
fans really always got the worst takes.
As always the truth is somewhere in the middle 🧐
