After like 10 listens i might have to put this over mdm
trilogy (fuck yall im counting it as 1) > kiss land > dawn
MANNNN THAT JIM CARREY INTERLUDE IS SOOO GOOD
The outro is insane.
Woke up at 6 to listen and when the outro hit i was so scared
he's credited on almost every song and he helped executive produce it
Co production man. And opn easily had more of the exec production roll. His signature sound design and synthesis is all over this
When max martin is co production. Thats different. He literally never takes a backseat.

This is my ranking too tbh i listened to this 3 times already
This album kinda weird but I enjoyed it first listen, will need to listen a few more times
Fav tracks were Gasoline, TMB, I Heard You’re Married & Less than Zero
Same bestie
What song you on sherm pal
Sacrifice, this is a good time so far. Donna Summers vibes and I like the OPN stuff
I love the non falsetto delivery he’s doing all over this
sounds like some 1980s s***
Yeah this is why I can’t listen to albums on live streams. I wasn’t really feeling the album at all last night but now that listening with headphones and understanding the concept, this could be his best album. I haven’t even deciphered the lyrics yet but the concept is kind of depressing on some LOST finale s***
gasoline giving me new order vibes
I was thinking Culture Club / Depeche Mode but New Order for sure too
Just finished
need to listen more, production sounded amazing, however alot of songs sounded the same / had seamless transitions and im at work listening so sometimes id look and 3 songs passed
(not a complaint i like that, just i wasnt paying full attention to the music)
Initial thoughts are i liked it, but ive liked more of the weeknds recent output than this (after hours, starboy). We will see after more listens though
I was thinking Culture Club / Depeche Mode but New Order for sure too
definitely a 80s british new wave sound there
