Abel has really figured out how to do something literally not a single one of my other favorite artists has done (Kendrick, Frank).

He’s perfectly meshed his superstar pop appeal with the meaningful art that it seems he’s always been intent on putting out into the world. At the same time, he’s doing this incredible thing of pushing music forward by reflecting on its past and incorporating classic sounds with modern sounds. It’s so beautiful to see.
