People who think Dawn > AH need to listen to AH RIGHT AFTER they played Dawn. AH has the hits, unique songs, songs that feel like pure crack, insane replay value and is super interesting overall.
Dawn good but it's a step below
this is why drake keep giving y'all mid normie albums
I had no idea what to expect from that live stream but it really was the perfect way to experience the album for the first time
I just don’t like how people are brushing after hours off as if it wasn’t his best album
^^^
The fact that people are in here arguing over which album is more incredible says everything you need to know about The Weeknd
GOAT
I just don’t like how people are brushing after hours off as if it wasn’t his best album
No one’s brushing it off, Weeknd is just that talented of an artist that people’s initial response to his new album is that it’s better than his best
In what way? I said Dawn was good yesterday and I still think it is, dunno how I changed
When it just dropped i saw you saying something like trash.. but could have been my eyes . I was hyped so

No fr
Like I wish i could have been in the room with them, it looked amazing
Lmao the duality of man
The fact that KANYE West is gonna hear the song GASOLINE and internalize it
Need ye dancing gif to the sound of sacrifice

not you, but people itt do seem to be forgetting how good AH was
This album is actually clicking faster for me than AH. AH took months for me to really realize that I was falling in love with nearly every song one by one.

He will probably think "I heard your married" was about Kim and clock he was getting cheated on

AH still gets better every listen

Dawn good but it's a step below
Agreed. Both great tho
Saying this his best album without seeing it performed or digesting it fully is wild though
Why is it impossible for someone to hear this and say they like it more then After Hours? Who cares how long it’s been out?
It’s only a testament to how talented Abel really is
Dawn is way more cohesive and consistent of an album, but After Hours been out for two years of course it has more hits than an album that’s been out for 12 hours
And even still, there are a handful of songs on here that sound like absolute smash hit records:
Sacrifice
Out of Time
Is There Someone Else?
Less Than Zero
And plus Take My Breath was already a moderately sized hit
I feel you but being more cohesive can also lead to things being too repetitive. Not saying I think Dawn is that, but I prefer the mixed style of AH.
Let's see about hits. TMB didn't really do much noise but there are a couple of songs that can be big. Is There Someone Else? will probably go down as my SOTY so that might do some work
