Thats people that skimmed through the songs and not even listening to the lyrical content of the songs.

That does not have the same ear for transitions. That doesnt pay attention to sequencing. Not thinking about the production while they listening. Not grasping the concept behind the album.

They basically listening with the ears of "like" and "dont like". Because they are basic... and not "musicheads".

But the quote you have there is someone that have already decided what they are gonna say and their mind is already made up about this artists and his music. Blindly hating.

Same with people that want "old" Weeknd. People with just a very narrow mindset.

People grow and evolve. Especially a creative like Weeknd.

Others are just stuck in their own mind, but it is also why some people in general dont grow much after a certain point in their life. They start to despise new things. Want things to be how they have always been etc. We probably all know people like that. Most of them are "old" people but there is a lot younger people that suffer from the same syndrom. They get stuck in how the world and themselves was. They stay there for the remainder of their life.
