don't understand why people keep saying this as though this hasn't been the case for basically every project post-Trilogy aside from MDM

Nah this album is different. In starboy, bbtm, mdm and after hours you still have some songs that people could force themselves to see a trilogy vibe in it. But dawn fm is straight up pop. You can't salvage any trilogy sound from it. That's why I think this is his biggest f*** you. After this I think people have given up on expecting trilogy sound from him
