I'm still seeing people b**** about this you know what's funny? If you look at Abel's music career, he's made pop music longer than he has made r&b, so why is it now people are b****ing?

That or they’re too stuck on what he sounded like 10 years ago and don’t want new sounds. It always bugs me when people try to control what an artist makes.

i think there are definitely instances where artists take a turn for the worse stylistically. of course, this is not one of those instances.

Not gonna lie. There’s some MJ esque s*** on here. Sacrifice and out of time come to mind. Idk about modern day thriller lol but it’s great so far. Live with it and watch what happens

Seems like a lot of ppl have expectations set going in and/or just want “old weeknd” back. F*** all that. It’s been great to see him evolve
