this sounds very weird to say, but i think the hit potential for this album is lower compared to previous albums. not to say that makes the album worse or anything, but i can't imagine there being another Blinding Lights tier song

as someone who used to drink and party a lot and now I don't as much and quit drinking the last 4 yrs, I like how it feels like weeknd going thru the same vibes in his music

I had his d***ged out phase while I was drinking and being a degenerate

and now I get his dance pop phase when I'm retired and jus having fun with life

prediction this album actually has zero hits but goes down as one of his best ever

This is the closest thing to Thriller. The idea that absolutely nothing can be compared or even brought up in the same conversation as Thriller makes zero sense, so we can compare every single album ever made to each other but not that? Dumb mentality, this is an instant pop classic that will likely age into a GOAT category.
