cant say im not happy with the album

but after the first 5 songs i was really expecting an entirely new direction, not only in terms of production, arrangement, and vocals but also in terms of lyrics and subject matter, the latter of which was rarely found on Side B

songs like Best Friends, Starry Eyes, I Heard You're Married, and Is There Someone Else sound like they're trying to appease fans who wanted a more "classical" Weeknd sound. Perfect case scenario for me would be adding these songs to the Deluxe, making room for more exploratory songs on the og album
