I know he said after hours is his most perfect album in terms of him having no issues or notes for it after the fact. What has he said about dawn?
I was talking about him not wanting to revisit original trilogy, I’ll try and find the interview
Huh? Is that from the same interview from august?
second quote is, first is his tweet from like July
also, from the same interview, "this is the album i've always wanted to make"
Rory implying Abel is not a huge pop star because of the first week numbers
So he’s just like half this site
tho im sure he still likes Trilogy as a body of work
i remember in 2019 he mentioned relistening to the whole thing for the first time in years
Why does young Weeknd hate old Weeknd so much
That's my thought, he seemed like a sweet elderly man tbh
After Life 2024 calling it now
Not possible he will drop it before the tour
The way the second verse on less than zero is half as long as verse 1 is such genius. Gets right back into the chorus so fast
I feel like lots of pop songs do that
i hate this most times but it works on the right songs. like you couldn't come up with two extra bars
but it's usually just conscious smart pop songwriting in order to beat the hook into your head lol
Tracks 2-5 is an incredible run
I’ve played that more than anything the last few days

For SURE. Definetly from the max Martian song writing book. You feel you’re back sitting into the verses again and it catches you off guard by going back into the biggest and most explosive part of the song
Not possible he will drop it before the tour
Why do u think so? It’s literally called the after hours til dawn tour…
theres 100% gonna be more videos dawg these 2 were released in the same 2 weeks and after hours had like 8, the last one in the story (Snowchild) wasnt the last released one. Save your tears was the last one released 10 months after the og
The narrative for the videos is very confusing
Take My Breath starts with him presumably walking out of town after After Hours, finding that underground party, and then temporarily dying which is why the video ends like that
Sacrifice starts with him in the purgatory area going towards the light, then waking up back at that party, and then being taken by that weird cult to be sacrificed…? and then he gets consumed by the light
And now Gasoline starts with Old Weeknd driving, crashing, waking up with Gasoline playing on the car radio (implying that he is also in the purgatory state), and then going to that underground party and being killed by Young Weeknd
I’m just very confused where Old Weeknd comes into play in all of this and if that party is actually purgatory itself or not
Old Weeknd is the symbolism that elderly people can get lost in a club if they leave their senior residence.
His face
look at preme in the cut. reps up/xo still really tight huh
Why does young Weeknd hate old Weeknd so much
fear of his young abel habits catching up with him when he's older
could’ve been so much better let’s be real
But you weren’t paying full attention lol
