I'm just assuming based on the skit in Every Angel is Terrifying and the fact that Dawn FM concept is that of a radio transmission before ascending into the light / dying / whatever
Is it a stretch to think this album could be the dark album that he was making prior to Dawn? I know he said he scrapped it because it was detrimental to his health, but if that was supposed to be the follow up to AH, I'm assuming it would take place after he died.
And I don't know where he could take an album about the afterlife without the regret and pain that he left behind in Dawn... Well if he ended up in an afterlife that was basically hellish, that would be an interesting concept to make an album around
Imagine if after life is a schizophrenic, claustrophobic, haunting, maddening sound
From the visuals and the concepts in AH and Dawn I 100% do not see the third album being the “bright” and “happy” one, especially if it’s set after he dies. It’s probably filled with regret and remorse and confusion on what’s happened in his life. Could be the darkest(content wise, not necessarily sounding) project he’s ever made
am i the only one thinking about depeche mode when listening to dont break my heart?
