that part is so f***ing catchy. That song reminds me so much of some of the other weeknd songs where he uses that similar rap/sung flow

He using the snowchild flow exactly in the beginning

Nah it sounds like a slower and higher pitched version of his flow on this verse:

What tracks are y'all listening to the most?
Is There Someone Else // Out Of Time
What tracks are y'all listening to the most?
Out of time & don’t break my heart
Looking back at some of the AH performances and the rollout it had got me thinking that this album could have been way bigger if he made a proper rollout.

I just watched the Mallory bros reaction and I never in million years expected them to be the ones to break this album down to a point where I completely understand it. The tweet where he said this makes complete sense now
This truly is a concept trilogy
After Hours - He’s basically broken down at the end to the point he can’t take it anymore and takes his own life
Dawn FM - He knows he lived a sinful life and he reflects on it throughout the album but now that he’s dead he can’t let the regret go, hence what Jim is saying in “Phantom Regret”. Phantom Regret to me is Jim saying okay we will go through this again and again and you will stay here in purgatory until you understand what i’m trying to tell you, let go of the regret and you’ll see heaven.
The cover shows Abel hasn’t yet let go of it and he’s been in purgatory for a LONG time just thinking about the the past(remember when Quincy said “looking back is a b**** isn’t it?”) But there’s a little light behind his shoulder referencing soon he will let go of that regret.
After Life is going to be Abel finally letting go of it, maybe finding peace and I think it might end up being his best album, it might end up being his happiest sounding album as well.
Another cool thing I noticed is that Every Angel Is Terrifying is trying to hint that you have to let go of everything in your past life to experience all that great stuff in the ad(after life).
I wonder what’s going to happen that signifies Abel letting go of regret on the next album
I actually hate how this is better than after hours
I need a break from Abel for a year.
