yk im a weeknd fan but very very critical of him

lately feels like his visuals since AH are more about wearing his cinematic influences than creating a cohesive story

does this feel more like the latter or former to you ? do you think his visuals are getting better at making their own story / world ?

I’m getting the feeling everything is subtly hinting towards The Idol.

I recently watched Eyes Wide Shut and I feel like Abel is definitely heading in that direction with The Idol/making his acting debut be a splash
