Agree to an extent. He acts well enough… for a singer trying to act.

JT had the cookie cutter boy band look, though. I think Abel’s mystique and music gives him a slightly grittier edge. He can get away with more of the type of roles he’s being casted in like that new TV show.

Nothing I’ve seen from him so far to suggest he’ll be amazing or anything, but it’s still early days. I do think he’ll end up more in the writing and direction side though as you say
