Faithwasn’t he homeless when he was making that? Not to say that he lost his drive or anything but he got rich and he didn’t need to overwork himself anymore.
It was obviously the best and healthy choice for him.

i mean i can't be sure but i would say he's working much much harder now with all of his different endeavors than he was back then?
i'm not saying "why doesn't he drop faster" because he drops plenty compared to some other acts. it was just something that crossed my mind because i imagine he has so many different concepts and angles musically that he'd probably love to execute but the modern musical landscape doesn't really lend itself to that fast-paced turnaround, like the 60s-80s for example. creating and performing is only one part of the job, whereas that's all they really had to worry about back then.

Yeah I think he himself even mentioned something in the same vein , he could work on HOB for however long he wanted and did anything he liked, he had no expectations from fans or a label or anything like that
