Facts. Dangerous top 3 album OAT.

That album is something else, even the album cover tells such a deep story. I think that the bag Abel has been in with AH/Dawn. Creating music that's interconnected. Just look at all the usage of "in your eyes" That's what creates great artists.

100% bro. Was the first album cover that I was obsessed with as a 7 year old kid.

Easily my favourite MJ album. Not even questionable to me. Off The Wall second, then Bad, then Thriller.

Ahhh man I'm not really feeling this, was hoping for the darker vibe from the teaser, bridge is amazing tho

Would be crazy if the album version has a really long synth intro

This track is it, tbh. I’m not going to lie, I wasn’t entirely sold going into the new era as I’ve never been hot on this type of riffy, synth disco beat kind of music he was alluding to, but the track feels quite seamless. Verses are a touch janky, but the beat switch; pre-hook into the chorus; bellisimo.

Think I’m receiving this lead single way more positively than I initially did Blinding Lights, and that track ended up gargantuan, so let’s see…

Actually you can summarize the music landscape of the 20's with two songs. MJ - Another Part Of Me & Prince - 1999.

You know what weird? My boomer stepdad who only listens to his 80s s*** like Cure, Billy Idol, Depeche Mode etc. Loves Abel since AH dropped and has since bought KL vinyl. It’s interesting how Abel can bridge those generational gaps unlike any artist in this era.

Lowkey think he’s the true superstar of our age. Closest thing since MJ. Maybe a overwrought take, but it’s interesting to consider in an era where we don’t really produce ‘superstars’ anymore in that Prince and Michael mould.

Drake does the same thing with tracks like hold on, one dance, hotline bling etc. Older people love those joints
