We see the black cat in the opening, and this is the Egyptian god Baset.

In this video we have more red blue matrix light symbolism which I loved when this dropped.

The assassin has a tattoo under his left eye. The eye is an important Egyptian symbol.

The girl from the club we learn was there to protect the Weeknd and she was the black cat aka Baset. But Baset is also Sekmet, and Sekmet is blood thirsty to protect Ra, the sun god. Since Sekmet was so blood thirsty and killed more than evil Ra turned her into the black cat Baset. So here we don't see Sekmet but she protects the Starboy, the sun is a star(Starboy), and she's blood thirsty.

At the end you see Baset standing in front of the Weeknd showing more protection.

In Starboy he foreshadows what he was going to do at the end of AH with songs like Die for You. MDM was the beginning of the suicide note, where at the end he said he was going back to his old ways because of the heartbreak we here in Call out my name. AH is his journey to the end. I don't know if I can be alone again, it's too late to save our souls, lost his faith(Constantine), until I Bleed out.

That's one hell of a 2nd trilogy we got. Again just a summary as there is more to fit it all in.

MDM might be the 6 stages of grief, each track is a stage, loosely fits.

But the part of the story that broke me was when he released the the Blinding Lights Chromatic Remix and we find out the girl calls him back to say sorry and he missed her call!!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
