Do you guys think he is happy with how sales and radio plays are going for TMB? I was hyped soon as he dropped but I felt like it would be too early for other people and a BIG success because his songs of After Hours did so well in the charts for so long. For me it seems like he’s patiently waiting now.

I agree with you guys I think he is waiting till TMB takes of.. enters the top 10 at least and from there picking up the roll out again.
But I’m afraid it won’t be a blinding lights situation

And then again I live in Amsterdam and TMB is a top 10 hit here on the radio daily still don’t know why it flopped chart wise in the USA it’s such a strong and catchy record

i just want to love the music again. this guy was one of if not my favorite artist at a time

I mean the interviews leading up to this project basically imply it being similar to After Hours sonically with a more "brighter" theme.

but the point is, if u are looking to "eat your words over the last few years" or "to be won over again" it's obvious u aint gna get that sound u want lmao

i'm not particularly fussed about what the sound will be. i simply want to be wholly satisfied with a project again :)

i don't think there should be anything negative about wanting my fave former artist to "win me back" it's just an expression really.

after hours isn't my favorite album, but I definitely see it as his most consistent "mainstream" album sonically and refined a lotta of the flaws on his previous mainstream albums.
