A lot of your songs are really unusual, some might say unconventional. Is there anything you have created that made you think “this sounds like nothing else”?

There’s lots of stuff that sounds different, like these records we’re working on now. We were just in the studio with The Weeknd, and that sounds really futuristic. Pharrell’s working on a new record and that sounds real island-like and different. So it’s like travelling to different worlds all over again. Daft Punk worked with the Weeknd and we’re still in that same world, so we created more of that and became part of the same world.

Wasn't I just talking about Weeknd and Pharrell

Not really something I wanna hear, Pharrell music does not connect with me, but I still think they can do great things.

Pharrell fell off tbh. His work on the last Timberlake record was straight ass and at best he's been anonymous on most of the beats he's produced lately. Maybe now that he's linked up with Chad it'll be different.
