The whole “king of the fall” image is also so corny. Like literally nobody f***ing cares what season their fav artist drops music

Also the whole promoting death, d****, and dark themes before album releases or in music videos but the music being white girl pop trash that you would hear in a clothing store is sooo annoying and corny

The whole sending cryptic hints, tweets, images before album roll outs is SO corny bro

i know it's gonna get backlash but you're right. There really is no purpose behind it other than to pad the lack of substance or growth in his current output. I like the weeknd's music but i used to really love it and it's sad that he does this to try to trick us into thinking he's reaching a new peak only to come out with essentially the same stuff as before.
