I still can’t get over how impeccable this s*** is, and how good the bait and switch was with it. It’s better than the actual season itself imo. You think it’s some new dope scifi series starring Aaron Paul and then it pulls the rug out at the end. The use of Dark Side of the Moon is perfect. Game of Thrones finale was terrible but this was easily the highlight of that night

Yeah, I love good trailers regardless of how a movie/show/game turns out. I think they can be works of art on their own. My favorite trailer is probably the Rise of the Tomb Raider teaser:

I love that it shows how these big adventures and killing a ton of people and stuff really f***s with an action hero mentally. S*** gives me goosebumps every time

I personally didn’t enjoy that movie at all. Much preferred Ghost Protocol. The trailers for the franchise have always been consistently good tho.

I have an extreme fear of heights so Ghost Protocol has always been my favorite as well. The Burj Khalifa climbing will never not get my heart rate up. But I appreciate Fallout for being “elevated action” with lots of slick camerawork and stuff, I think the one shot long take of the HALO jump was one of the best action scenes ever filmed. And all the thousands of twists were fun for the first watch. But yeah idk I just never return to it the way I do Ghost Protocol. It’s the most fun movie of the series by far. There’s tons of great sequences crammed into it. I love the Moscow scene as well

I watched the Indiana Jones 4 trailer religiously when I was younger. They were always my favorite movies growing up and I probably watched the trailer a hundred times. Now any time I watch the movie I can catch all the scenes that were in the trailer lol

From the leaks and stuff I have hope Indy 5 is gonna be something special. James Mangold is the perfect man for the job, and Toby Jones and Mads Mikkelson are perfect for the series. I’m wondering if Boyd Holbrook is gonna take on the mantle since he’s in it as well, he seems like a good fit to lead the Indy franchise going forward

It’s a good show. It’s deliberately made to be confusing since it’s from the robots point of view and they don’t know s*** about what’s going on

I’ve never gotten into Indiana Jones I’ve just seen the first one and a chase seen in the Nazi one

bro I am SO F***ING JEALOUS you get to experience Indiana Jones for the first time. yes you need to get on that s***, they’re easily the most entertaining movies ever made. you’re gonna go back and rewatch them like 10 times lol. First one is they’re looking for the Ark of the Covenant, second one is so dark/violent it literally got the PG-13 rating created because of the parental outrage (it’s about a death cult of child slavery in India), third one is the best and most fun, it’s about finding the Holy Grail and Sean Connery plays Indy’s dad, fourth is an homage to sci-fi B-movies of the 50’s and is intentionally campy (like it’s got flying saucers, Area 51, they’re searching for El Dorado, etc.)

You’ll be surprised at how gory and gruesome the violence is in them as well lol

Seriously dude there’s a reason they’re so beloved. You need to watch them ASAP, you won’t regret it at all. I just figured everyone had seen them before haha
